A property in West Yorkshire was sealed off while tests were carried out yesterday evening after the discovery of the bodies of four people.
The cause of death was unclear but it was understood that the checks being carried out by a hazard response team at a property in Pudsey, Leeds, were for gas and other chemicals.
In a brief statement West Yorkshire Police said officers were alerted at 5.30pm yesterday "following the discovery of four bodies". It added: "Inquiries are at an early stage and police have sealed off the area while the property is checked for any harmful chemicals or gases."Reuse content
