After days of fanfare...

The overwhelming experience of the 2015 eclipse was probably "grey".

Are we really this cynical?


The whole incident was a good opportunity to admire people's back gardens.


Friendships were kindled between complete strangers on public transport as normal social rules dissolved into thin air.


Some people were so disappointed they were driven shouting at clouds.


It was a great opportunity to flaunt any #cloudfacts you knew.


Basically, it was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to moan. Which was actually fine with most people.


You'll only have to wait a few decades for it to happen again.
