'Hostile' judge unfair

A trial judge was criticised by the Court of Appeal for 'hostile and sarcastic' interruptions, depriving defendants of a fair hearing. Susan Whybrow and Dennis Saunders, jailed in 1991 for 8 and 10 years respectively for conspiring to murder Mrs Whybrow's husband, are on bail pending trial.
