HTV chief quits

Emyr Daniel, managing director of HTV Wales, has quit the company less than a year after masterminding its successful bid to keep its franchise. The move is believed to result from a merger of management in Wales and the west country, raising fears the Welsh part of HTV's operations has lost some of its independence.
