Killers' film given go-ahead
The film Natural Born Killers, about a couple's bloodthirsty rampage glorified by the media, was finally passed by Britain's censors last night.
The British Board of Film Classification hesitated over whether or not to pass Oliver Stone's thriller because of alleged links to copycat killings in the US and France. But it decided there was no proof that "ordinary people had been turned into killersby being exposed to a particular film" and awarded it an 18 certificate.
