Law Update: Criminal justice conference

Against a background of fears that the government may use the forthcoming Criminal Justice Bill to implement recommendations by the Royal Commission on Criminal Justice, the Legal Action Group (LAG) is holding a conference on 6 November. Speakers will include Professor Michael McConville of Warwick University , Andrew Hall, a barrister and formerly the solicitor for Winston Silcott, and Roger Smith, LAG's director.
