Law Update: Franchises find favour
Over 2,600 legal aid practitioners have said they will definitely apply for a franchise when the system is introduced in October, according to figures issued this week by the Legal Aid Board. The majority of respondents to the board's questionnaire said they would apply for franchises in more than one category, with the most popular categories matrimonial and personal injury.
