It may reflect the demanding nature of their work, or maybe the law is a magnet for couch potatoes, but it seems that solicitors' favoured leisure pastimes are watching television, listening to music and reading. This is according to a survey by Lawyer, which also reveals that lawyers prefer shopping to the theatre. However, almost 70 per cent work at weekends, with a similar number making up for the long hours with up to five foreign holidays a year.
