Letter bombs defused in Wales

Army bomb disposal experts defused two incendiary devices sent to a Welsh landowner and the offices of the British Association of Shooting and Conservation at Rossett, near Wrexham. They carried Belfast postmarks, but police said animal rights groups were the likely senders. The package sent to the Clwyd home of Sir Watkin Williams-Wynne aroused his secretary's suspicions and was placed in an outbuilding.
