Gerard Hanratty, 32, of Andersonstown, west Belfast, who was acquitted in Germany of causing an explosion that killed 10 soldiers at an army barracks in Duisburg in 1988, was extradited yesterday.

He was flown to Belfast where he is wanted by the RUC for jumping bail while awaiting trial on arms charges.
