Motorway pile-up

One motorist died and two others were seriously hurt in a multiple pile-up which closed the M18 near Doncaster, South Yorkshire. The accident, which happened in fog, involved 54 vehicles. Another 30 vehicles were involved in a crash on the M62 near Pontefract.
