New Bishop of Winchester appointed
The Rt Rev Michael Charles Scott-Joynt has been appointed the next Bishop of Winchester, the fifth most senior job in the Church of England. Bishop Scott-Joynt, 52, currently area Bishop of Stafford, succeeds the Rt Rev Colin James, who retired in March.
