New-born body found in woods

Police appealed yesterday for the mother of a new-born baby boy found dead in woods to come forward. The baby's body was found wrapped in a blanket by a passer-by in a wooded area at Ascot in Berkshire. The cause of death has yet to be established but police do not suspect foul play.
