No action over MP's expenses
No action is to be taken against Jack Cunningham, the shadow Foreign Secretary, after an investigation by Cumbria police into his expenses when winning Copeland at the last general election.
The investigation followed complaints by the beaten Tory candidate, Philip Davies. Police said yesterday that the Crown Prosecution Service had concluded there was insufficient evidence.
