The alto sax virtuoso Peter King playing Charlie Parker's Grafton plastic saxophone, which was sold for pounds 93,500 at Christie's yesterday. Parker played it at the 1953 'Quintet of the Year' concert at Massey Hall, Toronto, with Dizzy Gillespie, Charles Mingus, Bud Powell and Max Roach
