Ukip manifesto: key policies explained in a minute
We take a look at the party’s most important policies in 60 seconds
Ukip have launched their manifesto for the 2015 General Election, setting out the pledges they intend to campaign for should they win the race to influence Number 10.
The main sticking point for Mr Farage’s party is the EU – so its no surprise that one of their central policies is a rapid referendum on the UK’s membership of the EU.
On similar lines, Ukip want to radically overhaul our immigration system – most notably introducing a five year wait before migrants can claim benefits. They also want to repeal the Human Rights Act, replacing it with a UK Bill of Rights.
Finally, Mr Farage has promised an extra £3billion a year for the NHS – promising that migrants and UK visitors will have to have private healthcare.
