CONSULTANTS: The Department for Education has spent pounds 6.669m in the last five years on 244 contracts with consultants, Eric Forth, education minister, said. John M Taylor, parliamentary secretary, Lord Chancellor's Department, said his department had spent pounds 3.455m on 74 external consultancy projects completed in 1992-93.
