ROYAL YACHT: Britannia is no longer suitable for use as a hospital ship in wartime - one of the justifications traditionally used for maintaining the vessel. Archie Hamilton, Minister for the Armed Forces, told Alan Williams, (Lab, Swansea West). Its costs, expected to be pounds 8.5m for 1992-93, will still be paid from the defence budget.
