FRAUD CASES: Of the current caseload of the Serious Fraud Office, 28 out of 59 cases are being tried or are awaiting trial, 13 are awaiting committal or transfer, and 18 are under investigation, Sir Nicholas Lyell, Attorney General, told Dennis Skinner (Lab. Bolsover).
PENSION PAYMENTS: More than half of all pensioners - 57 per cent - receive income from an occupational pension, compared with 44 per cent in 1979, Ann Widdecombe, Parliamentary Under-Secretary for Social Security, told Jonathan Evans (C. Brecon and Radnor).
