Princess Charlotte's godparents announced ahead of christening
There are no royal names on the list

The five godparents of Princess Charlotte have been announced ahead of her christening in Norfolk - and there isn’t a royal in sight.
Friends of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Sophie Carter, James Meade, Kate’s cousin Adam Middleton, the Hon Laura Fellowes and Thomas van Straubenzee have been given the honour.
It follows on from a similar decision to exclude any royal names at Prince George’s christening in 2013 in the royal couples’ effort to give their children as ‘normal’ an upbringing as possible.
Or as normal as you can get when the Crown Jewels are taken down from London specifically for the occasion and you are baptized in an ornate lace christening gown first worn by Queen Victoria's daughter Victoria, Princess Royal in 1841.
