Prisoner bailed

Paul Bennett, a New Zealander who says Scotland Yard connived in his illegal kidnapping and expulsion from South Africa, was granted bail. However, Mr Bennett, who has spent 2 1/2 years in custody accused of obtaining finance for a helicopter by deception, could be re-arrested and taken to Scotland to face further charges.
