Race bias award

A computer operator who was refused a job interview because he was Asian was awarded pounds 3,500 in damages by an industrial tribunal in Leeds. The award to Eqbal Bhogal, 27, was made against a company called Finserv, of Armley, Leeds, and its proprietor.
