Rock star pledges to donate proceeds of London concerts to Aids charity

Elton John yesterday announcing that the proceeds from two London concerts this week will go to his Aids charity. 'I want to do whatever I can to help the fight against this disease,' he said. Profits from his latest single, 'Simple Life', will help to fund Aids research.
