In an article in the Independent on 27 June, 'Scottish harpies take Queen's name in vain', we gave the circulation for Harpers and Queen as 4,000 copies a month. In fact the magazine sells 85,451 copies a month (ABC July-Dec 1991). We apologise for the error.
