Scruffy squad
A police squad disguised in scruffy jeans, shellsuits, baseball caps and trainers arrested 31 teenage muggers in Glasgow city centre over the Christmas period. Operation Cordon was launched because of the increasing number of shoppers being robbed in the street by young gangs wielding knives.
