Six accused of trying to murder burnt girl

Six people will appear in court today charged with the kidnap and attempted murder of Suzanne Capper, the 16-year-old girl critically ill with burns, police said last night.

Suzanne, from Moston, Greater Manchester, has burns of more than 60 per cent. She has been placed on a life support machine at the city's Withington Hospital.

The six, four men and two women, are aged between 16 and 28. They will appear before Manchester city magistrates.

Suzanne was found naked on a suburban road in Stockport, Greater Manchester, on Monday morning.
