Surfer to sue

James Andrews, a windsurfer, has been granted legal aid to issue a county court summons against Southern Water after he contracted hepatitis A. He alleges he caught the viral illness from sewage-polluted seawater off Eastbourne, and is claiming pounds 10,000 damages. The water company said the water met the European Union standard.
