Reginald Spink is a freelance writer and literary translator. He was born in York and has lived in Denmark and now London. He has received several awards, including that of the Knight's Cross of the Dannebrog Order for wartime services to Denmark as a member of the Special Operations Executive (SOE) and for his post-war literary work. His past publications have included Hans Christian Andersen translations published by Everyman.
