Ellen Bryant Voigt has published four volumes of poetry; Claiming Kin (1976), The Forces of Plenty (1983), The Lotus Flowers (1987) and Two Trees (1992). She is taking part in The South Bank Centre's festival of The American South in An Evening of Southern Poetry on 23 July at 7.30pm in the Chelsfield Room, South Bank Centre (Box Office: 071 928 8800).
