William Oxley is a former City accountant and once edited the controversial poetry magazine Littack. He now lives in Brixham, South Devon. His recent work has included Playboy (University of Salzburg Press) and Cardboard Troy (Stride). This poem appears in In the Drift of Words published by Rockingham Press at pounds 5.95.
