David Grubb was born in 1941 and now lives in Oxfordshire. He is executive director of the aid agency Feed The Children. He has published 17 collections of poems, including The Rain Children (Stride, 1993). He has also published three works of fiction. This poem appears in his new collection The All Night Orchestra published by Loxwood Stoneleigh at pounds 7.95.
