The troubles: deaths
ALMOST 3,400 people have died as a result of the troubles, most of them in Northern Ireland. This allocation of responsibility is based on a project which will produce a database of all troubles-related deaths. Since the project is not yet complete, the figures should be regarded as having an error level of, perhaps, 5 per cent.
