Three killed in helicopter crash
Two men and a woman were killed and a man was seriously injured last night when a private helicopter plunged into a mountain gully 1,000ft up Moel Goch in north Wales and burst into flames.
Paramedics in an RAF Wessex helicopter were flown to the scene 10 miles south of Colwyn Bay. The injured man, who suffered leg injuries, was flown to Glan Clwyd Hospital. Firefighters and a mountain rescue team had to walk to the spot because it was so inaccessible.
