Wave boy inquest
David Blainey, 13, who disappeared on an outing to Blackpool last week while in council care, was swept into the sea as he 'wave-dodged', an inquest was told. The post-mortem examination showed that he died from drowning, and the inquest was adjourned for further inquiries.
