Woman jailed for pounds 4 theft

A ticket clerk was jailed for 28 days for swindling her employers out of pounds 4. Margaret McCormick, 47, of Gosport, Hampshire, was found guilty of theft and going equipped for theft after taking used tickets from a bin at the Gosport Ferry Company. During her trial at Portsmouth Crown Court, McCormick admitted reselling the old tickets to recoup minor losses the company had asked her to make up out of her own pocket.
