Woman charged with abduction
A 39-year-old woman from Rhyl, Clwyd, has been charged with the abduction of baby Lydia Owens and will appear before Prestatyn magistrates today.
Three men also questioned by police after the kidnap of Lydia from Glam Clwyd Hospital in Bodelwyddan, Clwyd, on Friday, were released without charge.
News of the charge came shortly after Lydia's parents, Christine and Michael Owens, took their six-day-old daughter home from the hospital, where they have been since her recovery on Saturday night.
