A nurse tends Haitian ferry survivors
A nurse attends survivors of the ferry Neptune, which sank off the Haiti coast during a rainstorm on Wednesday night. The death-toll could be as high as 2,000, say officials in the port of Jeremie, where the overcrowded 150ft vessel began its journey. By yesterday, about 150 bodies had been recovered. The US Coast Guard suspended its search for survivors last night.
