Egyptians carry the body of a protester killed during the clashes in Cairo's Tahrir Square. Hundreds of Egyptian soldiers in riot gear swept through the Square early yesterday and opened fire on demonstrators demanding an immediate end to military rule.
The Health Ministry said that at least three people were killed, bringing the death toll for four days of clashes to 14. The violence began on Friday when forces guarding the Cabinet building cracked down on the three-week-old sit-in.
