Suzanne Mubarak, the wife of the former Egyptian president, collapsed and was admitted to hospital with a suspected heart attack after being told she was to be held on suspicion of corruption.

She was told by interrogators she was to be held and questioned for 15 days amid allegations she abused her position to enrich herself. Mrs Mubarak, 70, was initially questioned at the hospital in Sharm el Sheikh where her 83-year old husband, Hosni, has been held and questioned.
