Albanian PM seeks help
The Albanian Prime Minister Bashkim Fino flew to Rome yesterday for talks with European Union foreign ministers, His mission is to win European Union help in bringing order to his country, which has been racked by civil strife since the collapse of pyramid selling schemes which have left much of the population penniless.
The Italian government has announced that Italy is to turn away boats bringing Albanians to its ports in an uncontrolled exodus across the Adriatic. AP - Tirana
