Algerian judge murdered
Suspected Muslim extremists shot dead the presiding judge of the court in the west Algerian city of Oran, AFP reports from Algiers. Lakhdar Rouaz, 49, was hit by several bullets near his home before the three attackers fled. He was the sixth Algerian magistrate to be killed since May.
