Algerian police arrest 29
Algerian police arrested 29 people during scattered protests after Friday prayers against the jailing last week of the leaders of the outlawed Islamic Salvation Front, Algerian radio and witnesses said, Reuter reports.
In the eastern Algerian town of Batna, hundreds of demonstrators marched through the streets.
