Donald Trump said he ‘worked like hell’ to make a move on John Travolta's wife Kelly Preston

He wrote in a Trump University blog in 2009 - a tribute post to the couple's late son - that she refused him out of 'loyalty' to her husband, which he said he respected

Donald Trump wrote in a tribute to a 16-year-old boy who had passed away that he "worked like hell" to pick up his mother.

Kelly Preston and John Travolta’s son, Jett, died in 2009 after suffering a seizure while on a family holiday.

As reported by Mother Jones, the Republican nominee wrote in a blog post four days later on his now defunct Trump University website that he had attempted to have sex with her.

"A long time ago, before I was married, I met Kelly Preston at a club and worked like hell to try and pick her up," he wrote.

"She was beautiful, personable, and definitely had allure. At the time I had no idea she was married to John Travolta."

The blog post continued: "In any event, my track record on this subject has always been outstanding, but Kelly wouldn't give me the time of day. She was very nice, very elegant, but I didn't have a chance with her, and that was that."

Adult film actress Jessica Drake becomes 11th woman to accuse Donald Trump of sexual misconduct

He then wrote that his thoughts were with the boy’s parents.

The resurfaced blog post comes the same month that a leaked video from 2005 exposed the Republican bragging about sexual assault, prompting a wave of bi-partisan condemnation and a slew of allegations against him from at least 13 women who said they had been groped or even assaulted by the candidate.

He denied all the claims, calling the women "sick" and threatening to sue them after the election.

The most recent claim came from adult film actress Jessica Drake, who said he offered her $10,000 ten years ago to have sex with her, and then offered her use of his private jet.

"Oh, I’m sure she’s never been grabbed before," Mr Trump responded, denying her claim.
