Gordon Brown will travel to the US next week to address students at Harvard after being named a visiting fellow at its Institute of Politics, the prestigious university said today.
The former prime minister is to deliver the Malcolm Wiener Lecture in International Political Economy as part of his short visit - which may also include discussion groups and classes.
"We are confident our students, faculty and university community will enjoy engaging with Gordon Brown, a prominent international leader with experience at the highest levels of government and public service," the Institute's interim director, John C Culver, said.
