Authorities claim that a man broke into a home in Spotswood, New Jersey and hid under a bed for three days.

Jason Hubbard allegedly crept into the home as the homeowner took out the garbage on 7 May. The man was found hiding in a spare bedroom on 10 May, charging his four cellphones, NJ.com reported.

The homeowner immediately called the police and the family told CNN that their daughter had dated the man years ago. They now believe that he's homeless.

"I think he just had water. I wasn't scared, I was just angry," the homeowner said.

The man was charged with criminal trespassing, burglary and theft. He's currently being held in the Middlesex County Adult Corrections Center on bail of $50,000 (£32,000).
