Two women who dressed up as nuns and attempted to hold up a bank at gun point, are being hunted by the FBI.

Dressed in habits, the pair wandered into the Citizens Bank in Tannersville, Pennsylvania, before pulling a handgun on the teller.

One of them then instructed the teller to hand over the money.

But they fled empty handed after an automatic holdup alarm was triggered.

No one was injured during the attempted robbery which took place in broad dayligh.
