Porn shoot at school prompts complete filming ban at high schools in LA

The finding comes as part of an investigation into the use of schools as film sets in Hollywood

All filming has been temporarily suspended in high schools in Los Angeles after it was discovered a pornographic film was shot at one in 2011.

According to NBC4, an adult film crew were permitted to film at Alexander Hamilton High School in the Californian city.

The 2012 release Revenge of the Petites filmed at the school on two occasions after hiring the premises by paying cash. One scene was reportedly a nude ‘carwash’ shot in the school’s car park.

A spokesperson for the Los Angeles Unified School District, which permits filming on campus, told NBC4: “The district was made aware at the time that the production company failed to comply with terms of the filming agreement. We immediately notified the production company that it was banned from ever using district facilities again.

“We also demanded that the company remove any and all images depicting the school or its students from the film,” the spokesperson added.

A school official said they were misled about the nature of the film and would not have given permission for filming if they’d had known it was pornographic.

LAUSD said the filming hiatus was brought in as “it is important that we ensure teaching and learning are not disrupted, and that all film activity is appropriate for our schools.”

The organisation reportedly raises around $2million per year from letting schools to Hollywood production companies. The Telegraph reports Alexander Hamilton was once more innocently used as the school in television series, Beverly Hills, 90210.
