Toddler survives floating eight miles

The three-year-old rode his toy truck into a Canadian river - and wanted to go back after he was rescued.

Demetrius Jones told his grandmother he wanted to go back on his "boat" after being rescued.

Gran Anita Neudorf said he was staying at her trailer in British Columbia earlier this week when he disappeared.

He had taken his battery-powered truck into the Peace River, where he was swept up by a current.

He was found two hours later in the river still floating on the truck.

Ms Neudorf said was unperturbed by his ordeal and wanted to go back on the river on his "boat."
