Debate: Now the pundits take a pounding

Hot on the heels of the first televised debate of the US Presidential election came a contest that political followers of both sides wanted to see: Bill O'Reilly take on Jon Stewart.

The TV punditry darlings of the right and left, respectively, met in Washington DC for a mock debate in aid of charity.

Stewart used an electric platform to match O'Reilly's 9-inch height advantage. And his quick quips and description of O'Reilly as "The Mayor of Bullshit Mountain" ensured the noisy crowd were on his side.

After, O'Reilly dismissed a poll which said he had lost as being skewed by "far-left websites".
