WSDU news anchor LaTonya Norton speaks to little known Mo Farah (WDSU)

Mo Farah has been asked many questions by journalists since rising to fame by winning two gold medals at the London Olympics in the 5,000m and 10,000m. But none will have been as ill-researched as those posed by LaTonya Norton of New Orleans station WDSU.

Interviewing the British sportsman live on TV after he won the New Orleans half-marathon with a course record of just 61 minutes, Norton asked him: “Haven’t you run before? This isn’t your first time?”

Evidently surprised, Farah replied, “Sorry?” but was too polite to inform her of his Olympic fame.
